Regarding My Tahoe Show and handicapped Seating
Hi this is a message from Hypnotist Chris Cady
for everyone who is coming to my show here in Lake Tahoe at the Horizon Hotel Casino Resort and you or your family member have any sort of disability... you are using a wheel chair, scooter, cane, crutches, walker, or you have a challenge such as bad knees, arthritis, bad hips, bad back or a super sized body that makes it tough for you to get in and out of places and up and down stairs. (You get the point)
I'm going to make it very easy for you to come here and enjoy yourself at this show with your family:
Here is why I'm doing this:
For 5 years I had the pleasure of taking care of a disabled, wheelchair bound family member. During this time I learned that going anywhere is a challenge for the disabled person and their family. This is why if you are reading this, you probably don't get out much and you really need to come to my show and laugh your hiney off.
From my own experience most clubs, theaters and basically everywhere, handicapped seating is not very good and most venues are not well suited for disabled people and their families. Because of this, I wanted to do something different in my shows.
That's why before my very first hypnosis show in our new location in the Horizon Hotels Golden Cabaret I made sure that we would do our very best to create a very easy experience for our disabled guests and their family members or care givers.
So before we opened this show, I sat in a wheel chair and rolled in and out of our theater and figured everything out that would make an experience here EASY for you and your family.
After you read this: Please call my office at 775-425-5847
and let us know how we can
take care of you. It is my hearts desire to make it easy for you to enjoy this show.
Currently I'm performing in the Horizon Casino Resort in South Lake Tahoe. The room is very easy for anyone with a scooter, wheel chair, crutches etc to get into.
Also
THERE ARE NO STAIRS
plus the ground is level
With exception of the booths which are not easy to skip in and out of if you have a challenge or are "plus sized," the seats are cabaret style which means that they are at a table with a removable chair and every table can seat you comfortably with a nice view.
Again our seats are cabaret seats with cabaret tables and not theater seats so you don't have to worry about squeezing into a small chair or booth if this is a problem for you.
Restrooms
restrooms are close by just outside the show room across the lobby.
Parking
there is lots of parking here both covered and uncovered
In a nutshell you can park valet, drop off your family and have them wait in the lobby or go right to the show room which is basically also in the hotel lobby.
You can also park valet or have the valet attendant direct you to the wheel chair parking.
The parking are is wide and easy for anyone with a wheelchair or a scooter to use and the ticket booth, restrooms and showroom are only about 50 feet away. Its very simple and you can roll right into the showroom.,,Nice and EASY for a change...
Reservations And Seating
Seats are general admission so
When you know the date of the show that you will attend please call our box office and let us know your needs and how many people are in your party. We will assign you and your party members seats that will meet your needs. This seating is set up so that a wheel chair, or scooter can roll right up to your table
you can remain in your wheelchair. THERE ARE NO STAIRS ANYWHERE between the parking lot and the theater or the restrooms. If you park in the parking garage there is of course an elevator.
THIS THEATER IS 100% SMOKE FREE
REGARDING VOLUNTEERING IN THIS SHOW
If you have any sort of an injury, handicap, disability, are pregnant or you are under the care of a doctor or therapist, or if you take mind altering medications, etc please do not volunteer to be one of the people who gets hypnotized and gets up on stage. When you see the show you will understand why. However it is perfectly ok to watch the show and laugh yourself silly.
I look forward to seeing you soon.
